Our Programs
Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability
Recognizing the urgent need to address climate change, ADHA implements programs focused on environmental conservation, disaster preparedness, and climate resilience. We empower communities to adapt, protect their ecosystems, and promote sustainable natural resource management.
Our Objectives
- Promote climate-resilient livelihoods: Training farmers in climate-smart agriculture, sustainable land management, and integrated farming systems to enhance food security and productivity.
- Enhance environmental stewardship: Implementing reforestation, afforestation, soil conservation, wetland restoration, and sustainable water management.
- Strengthen community climate adaptation: Establishing community-based early warning systems, risk mapping, disaster preparedness plans, and climate resilience infrastructure.
- Support green energy transitions: Distributing solar lighting systems, promoting biogas and clean cookstoves, and advocating for sustainable energy policies.
- Build environmental awareness: Conducting education campaigns, supporting youth climate action, and working with schools and community groups to promote sustainable practices.
